Past: Photos By Sandi was started 21years ago in 1991 in Loveland, Colorado in Don and Sandi’s home. Studio where she catered to Grads, Small Weddings, Families and Commercial Photography. Prior to that Sandi volunteered for Larimer County Sheriff’s Dept. developing crime scene photos.  Her work is in many of the Lodges in Estes Park, Colorado and she has been nationally published.

In April 2000 Sandi and Don moved to Estes Park, Colorado, along with their business, offering the same Professional Photography Services and in 2003 added Photography Tours and Wildlife Scenic Tours in Rocky Mountain National Park.

~Sandi~ “To share my love of photography and the history (past/present) of the Rockies is a dream come true”. “If my customers have as much fun as I do, learn more about these wonderful mountains and are safe around the animals and terrain plus take home wonderful Portrait memories, then I have fulfilled my purpose as a Professional Photographer and Guide in some of the most spectacular places on earth!”.

In 2011 Don retired from a long career in management and has agreed to do the Wildlife/Scenic Safari Tours. Excited to share his knowledge and Love that he has had for the past 26years of these magnificent National Parks. and can share his knowledge of where the animals hang out and Spectacular Scenic Areas. Both Guides are fully lic/cert in all three National Parks.

Note:
Sandi’s Grandfather was a photographer and when she was young she (along with the family) would listen to a police scanner and depending on how severe the call would be he would allow the kids to tag along. The film would be brought home to a basement darkroom where he’d work his magic for a final black and white print ready for the 6:00 News. She can recall playing hide n go seek in the basement cabinets, shinning her nickels with mercury and all negatives were hung from a basement clothesline. “My, how things have changed! she says”. “No, I do not glow in the dark due to the mercury”. I remember hanging negatives to dry on a line downstairs and now there are  dryers for drying negatives and now that there is digital, it gives her the darkroom back. When asked how her Grandfather would feel about digital today she says, “he’d love it!”  “He was never afraid to try something new.” “I just wish he was here to work by my side today and teach me what he knew.” Relatives say when they see her work…they say he is!

Present…After a five year long wait we have been approved to Guide in not only our wonderful Rocky Mountain National Park but also in Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.  Since each Park is unique we will be offering unique services to each Park.  In Rocky Mountain National Park, we will still offer our Wildlife Scenic Tours, Photo Tours and Family Portraits and Grad Photography. For Yellowstone, we will offer our Wildlife Scenic Tours only.  For Grand Teton National Park we will offer Instructional Photo Tours.  Please feel free to check out our Website for more details.

We are so excited to be able to work is such magnificent National Parks and excited to share our knowledge, experience and our hope is that you take an experience home that you can’t wait to return to.
